A timeline of my professional journey — from startups to large media conglomerates, and from code to the classroom.
Every year, I share my progress both in career and personal life. Here's how it's going
Building backend services for the Account Statement (Rekening Koran) platform and leading a zero-downtime migration of 300+ microservices to production and development with Helm and Kubernetes.
Developing and maintaining a full-stack platform for e-commerce and tactical gear management — from responsive React/Next.js frontends to Node.js and PHP backends with third-party payment integrations.
Established the React frontend standards and CI/CD pipelines and built core microservices (Sales Order, Shipment, Master Data, Settlement) with Go and Echo — while doubling as UI/UX designer at the CTO's request.
First engineer in the company: built the engineering function from scratch, initiated the microservices architecture, and led a cross-functional team of 8 while staying hands-on — delivering a music ERP for composer, song, and royalty management.
Built and maintained four large-scale Kompas platforms full-stack (KGContent, Klasika, INR, Kompas Data), optimized big-data access with Elasticsearch, and drove the R&D team's adoption of a modern microservices stack.
Delivered websites and web apps for notable brands (Kanmo Group, Wana Artha Life, Ranch Market, Orang Tua, Saloka Park), translating UI/UX designs into functional, on-brand interfaces backed by Laravel, CodeIgniter, and Ruby APIs.
Built product catalog pages, reusable UI components, and gamified monthly discount campaigns for one of Indonesia's leading e-commerce platforms, ensuring cross-browser consistency.
Ongoing freelance work across web development, branding, UI/UX, and multimedia — building web apps with modern stacks and producing design, video, and motion graphics for clients.
Sharing knowledge and mentoring the next generation of developers across various institutions.
Taught software engineering to program participants — covering web programming, development practices, and technical mentoring to prepare them for their first developer roles.
Taught software engineering (JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js, React.js, REST API, SQL & NoSQL) through interactive sessions, code reviews, and project-based assignments — several graduates became professional engineers.
